When Danny Morrison questioned MS Dhoni on if the current IPL 2023 season would be his last as captain of the Chennai Super Kings, Dhoni shocked everyone by giving a comprehensive update on his future in the IPL. Morrison's claim was refuted by Dhoni, who insinuated that he may stay on for another year or two by noting that he didn't indicate it was his last IPL season. After Morrison tried to get a response from Dhoni regarding his future, the former Indian opener Virender Sehwag offered a direct response.
